1st prize LensCulture Portrait Awards 2020

Absolutely incredible news!
My SOLD series won 1st prize at the LensCulture Portrait Awards 2020.
I am over the moon. Fantastic that this series of portraits of victims of human trafficking was awarded with the 1st prize. More people need to know about this important subject. Human trafficking is closer to you then you can imagine. Winning this award means much more awareness. I am very very grateful!

oud roze

Great news!
I am so very happy, honored and proud that my new project OUDROZE (Antique Pink) has been selected for the documentary photo assignment 2019 of the city archives of Amsterdam.
For OUDROZE i will pay attention to the experiences of the first LGBTQ people who dared to express their orientation openly and who made the emancipation happen. The LGBTQ community in 2019 has a freedom this generation could not have imagined. I will document personal and inspiring stories from these pink elderly who are often forgotten about.
Important stories because, unfortunately, progress is not a constant.
